Louis Vadeboncœur and Francine Lagacé played the roles of William Fraser and his wife, Anaïs. Accompanied by a volunteer impersonating an English-speaking tourist, they would join the costumed guides in historical enactments and explanations. For several summers, these characters also appeared in costume at other tourist sites and manors in the region.
