AATC Telegraph Key and Sounder

The Anglo-American Telegraph Company used this telegraph key (right) and sounder in their Rantem office between 1923 and 1932, when the small station on Newfoundland’s Avalon Peninsula closed. Mr. Charles Saunders, an employee of the AATC, took the device home.
