Classification System for Congenital Heart Disease exhibited at the Centenary Meeting of the British Medical Association, July 1932
This collection of anatomical specimens brought renown to the McGill Museum of Pathology and was a source of great pride for Maude Abbott. Posters on the wall identify the different sections of the exhibit and explain the medical phenomena.
This part of the exhibit is divided into two sections. Part A, on the left, shows “Development & Comparative Anatomy of the Heart – Dr Maude E. Abbott & Dr J. L. Bremer”. Part B, on the right, shows “Clinical Classification of Congenital Cardiac Disease – Dr Maude E. Abbott.” At the top of the photograph, a sign reads “McGill University Exhibit by Dr Maude Abbott”. Below the photograph is a label that reads “Collection exhibited at the Centenary Meeting of the British Medical Association. July 1932”.
