Confidence
[Sandra] I think that the many I hear to them, they feel confident, really. When they start this group they feel somebody they try to connect them, somebody behind them, ‘Hey, I’m here, you’re not alone.’ So the most is confident, yeah.
Yes, I have many person they very encouraged me. That ‘You are capable, you are, you can do it.’ This we try now that return because this is, for me, Multicultural is like putting the shoes to the other – I don’t know you understand, but in Spanish, you put in the situation. For me, it’s give, give and receive. So if I learn something, I want to do it for others.
So I receive a lot of encourage to Canadian and my family here my in-laws, I want do to the same with the new immigrants, so they can do it, they can stay, you can enjoy this beautiful country.
But we want to still work in here. We can, we want everybody know which is Kirkland Lake. What is the amazing community we have. We are all welcome, so we want support Kirkland Lake, this is the reason.
Yes, it is. I feel so happy to live here. I’m going into town driving, I say ‘hi’, I feel like a queen. [laugh] No, it’s amazing, I really love Kirkland Lake.
