Charlie Chow (3rd from left) stands outside of his restaurant in downtown Kirkland Lake with several patrons. It would later be expanded to include a hotel.
It was a local landmark for decades, until it closed and was eventually torn down. Despite many rumours that Charlie stashed his money throughout the building, none was discovered during demolition.
