The Kirkland Lake Mine and Mill Workers Union also had a Ladies Auxiliary made up of many miners’ wives, sisters, and mothers.
The Auxiliary helped to organize and distribute support for miners and their families alongside the Union during the 1941-42 Miners Strike in Kirkland Lake.
