Bring Your Lunch concert

This program shows the schedule for the Bring Your Lunch Hopsville concert held at the Montreal Forum in 1966. For the occasion, about twenty groups performed one after the other for some 8 hours! The event’s name plays on the suggestion for teens to bring their own lunch so as to not miss any of the show!

Hi and welcome to Bring Your Lunch Hopsville. I sure hope you have a good time, and that the show will be talked about not only here in Canada, but in the United States as well. As you know, Dave Boxer has been working hard on this show, and when he first approchoached me to back him on it, I was rather delighted. We have both looked forward to today, and I hope surely that you will support your favorite group when they come on stage. The outline of the schedule is listed below. Some groups will be playing twice, and some only once.

We have 16 groups appearing on the show, and only 8 hours in which to spotlight them. It has certainly created a problem for us, but we hope that you will understand that not all group can play twice.
