This still from Larry Kent’s film High is one of very few images that exist of the front of The New Penelope on Sherbrooke Street. The backlit sign reads the name of the band playing that night: “The Sidetrack Blues Band.” Forever immortalized on film, The New Penelope will never really disappear thanks to the movie.
