Dock Street

Louis Michelson Archives, Saint John Jewish Historical Museum
Dock Street linked the uptown and north end of Saint John. It was lined on both sides with multi-storey brick buildings, dating from the late 19th century. Small stores were located at street level with offices and apartments on the upper floors. The entire area was demolished in the late 1970s to make was for a new Aquatic Centre, built for the 1985 Canada Summer Games.
