Another visit from Mgr. the Rector (Piette) and Mr. Archambault, Secretary-Treasurer. After a lot of research, they found a way to set up a bathtub near our dormitory. Charity is indeed ingenious. But for now, let us talk about our poor patients, for they are surely very interesting and, what’s more, deserving of our most sympathetic charity since, being cancer patients, most of them are incurable. There are currently fifteen being hospitalized. Bringing a little joy to these poor suffering souls, and guiding their life to the next, where they are now rapidly headed, that is our role. Oh, this role is far from appealing in nature, but how noble it is for a religious soul who loves Jesus and seeks to make him known and loved. To bring a smile on faces previously marred by suffering, such is our stated endeavour.
