Dr. Gendreau on the “Normandie” Liner, 1939

One of the criticisms leveled against Dr. Gendreau was his unfortunate tendency to spend more time abroad than working at the Institute. Here we see him on a famous transatlantic liner, although its exact destination when this picture was taken is unknown.
