Radium’s Radioluminescence
Excerpt taken from a NileRed video on Youtube.
Shortened montage (video with no audio) of a science popularization video depicting the effect of radioluminescence. In it we see a plastic container holding several old watch needles coated in radium paint. After being in contact with a light source, the needles give off a yellow-green glow in the dark: this is the effect of radioluminescence.
