Maisonneuve Public Library, 2024

Housed in this building since 1981, the Maisonneuve Public Library is part of “Bibliothèques Montréal” (literally “Montréal’s Libraries”), a public library network with different service points in the city’s various boroughs. In 2020, a wide-scale renovation and expansion initiative was launched in order to modernize the space while preserving the building’s authenticity and heritage. The project was completed in 2023.
