At the bottom, the title is French Canadian Medicine and is followed by a column stating Dr. Gendreau, Director of the Montreal Radium Institute, notes that the American College of Surgeons classifies, in a recent publication, the Montreal Radium Institute among the five major cancer institutes on the American continent. The others are: Memorial Hospital, New York; New York State Cancer Institute, Buffalo; the hospitals and laboratories of Harvard University, Boston; and Barnard Institute, St. Louis, Missouri. This classification is an honor for French Canadian medicine. In this area, ours show the way to all other universities in Canada.
