In its first year of operation the Québec Liquor Commission establishes its test laboratory, opens 64 stores, and offers 383 products for sale. It has 45 employees. Sales surpass 15 million dollars and the net revenue of the Commission reaches 4 million dollars. In 1930, the gross sales of the Québec Liquor Commission surpass $27,539,966 thanks to the American prohibition and then falls to $11,370,603 in 1934 with its cessation.
