The outdoor show always draws record crowds.

Each year, the festivities kick off on Friday night with a big show,  held outdoors if the weather permits. A huge bonfire warms up the festival-goers and creates a great atmosphere. Over the years, the Bootlegger Festival has been fortunate enough to host: You can dance, Mademoiselle Mew, Famous Live Rock Band, the Porn Flakes with guest artists (Daran, Lulu Hugues, Fred Lebel, Sébastien Plante, Martin Fontaine, Martin Deschamps and Kevin Parent), the Porn Flakes with four artists from the first edition of The Voice (Valérie Carpentier, Fred Lebel, Charlotte Cardin and Jérôme Couture) and a show by the Stones with Sébastien Plante, Rock Story (for the Municipality’s 100th anniversary celebrations), Jonas and The Massive Attraction, Andie Duquette, the Porn Flakes with guest artists (Jean-Marc Couture, Travis Cormier, Lulu Hugues, Fred Lebel, Stéphanie St-Jean, Johnny Arsenault and Rémi Chassé), The Brothers and Sylvain Cossette’s 70’s Tour. The Bootlegger Festival is a great cultural event for the population of Rivière-Bleue.
