Studio portrait photograph of Bishop George Hills likely taken in the 1870s. Bishop Hills was selected in 1859 to be the first bishop of Columbia and arrived in Victoria, B.C. in January 1860. It is likely Hills knew Jackman from before as Hills spent a significant portion of his first years in the Royal Engineers camp at Sapperton.
