John Richard Jackman was the third child and second son of Sarah and Philip Jackman. He is shown here standing beside his grandnieces and nephews, they are (from left to right) Bill, Bessie, Edith and John Switzer; the grandchildren of Emily Jane Lawrence (née Jackman). This photograph was taken in front of Philip Jackman Sr.’s second Aldergrove house.
