Grey chert biface fragments

The term « biface » simply refers to a two-sided artifact, but what was its use? Sometises its hard to say on the sole basis of its form. If I was to show you a knife, could you tell me without a doubdt what it was used for? Bifaces present the same challenge. Their uses can be very diverse.
