The new Saint-François-d’Assise Church, 1966
Atelier d’histoire Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve
Designed in the Vatican II architectural style, the new Saint-François-d’Assise Church was rebuilt at the corner of La Fontaine and Georges-Bizet streets. During construction, masses were held in a room of the Notre-Dame mall between Saint-Donat and Liébert streets.
