Myrtle Hotel Swept Away

The Myrtle Hotel was destroyed in the flood of 1921, along with many other businesses in downtown Port Coquitlam. Residents barely had time to leave the building before rising floodwaters lifted the hotel from its foundations and swept it down the Coquitlam River.
