Incorporation Ball

A ball was held in the Agricultural “Aggie” Hall to celebrate the incorporation of the City of Port Coquitlam in 1913. In the front of the photograph you can see PoCo’s first mayor, James Mars (standing front, 4th from the left), and alderman R. C. Galer (standing front, 3rd from the right). R. C. Galer later went on to become mayor himself and held that office for twenty years.
