During the Battle of Montmorency, British General James Wolfe and his troops, who had disembarked at the foot of the Montmorency Falls, attacked the French army entrenchments. While the Marquis Louis-Joseph de Montcalm’s troops were victorious, it didn’t stop the British from continuing their siege of Québec.
