Sawmills at the foot of the Montmorency Falls

This collection of six photographs taken by Louis-Prudent Vallée circa 1875 show the extent of the milling operations at the foot of the Montmorency Falls. After the death of his father-in-law in 1851, George Benson Hall took over the reins of the family business his wife had inherited.
