A birds-eye view taken of RCAF Clinton in 1966, its 25th year in existence. The base would soon become CFB (Canadian Forces Base) Clinton with the amalgamation of the Army, Navy, and Air Force in 1969.  The base would remain open until 1971. The remaining infrastructure became the small town of Vanastra in 1972.
