Rossland Ski Club Jump Hill, circa February 1937. Jumping continued to be a major spectacle for locals until the 1950s.
On December 6, 1934, the Rossland Ski Club (RSC) opened their new cabin on Monte Cristo Mountain with a party. Sixty people attended. Guests were required to bring something that was useful to the club, such as dishes, towels, records, etc. This cabin became the main meeting place of the Rossland Ski Club and hosted many social gatherings and dances over the years.
