Pounds full of Potatoes

Ross Traverse of Torbay, Newfoundland, owns Traverse Gardens, where he grows and harvests many of his own vegetables. He has a walk-in cool room located in the basement of his house where he stores vegetables and many other items.
Pictured are containers full of potatoes stored in his cool room. In traditional root cellars, the storage for potatoes and other root vegetables are called ‘pounds.’
