A Slide Towards Edouard Lake in 1941

This facility was built in the early 1940s and enjoyed a natural difference in elevation from this part of the city. It was demolished after a little girl was seriously hurt. At the time, the slide was installed on Du Portage Street, or Principale Street, and faced downwards towards Édouard Lake.
