At the time of this photograph, in the summer of 1926, Rouyn’s mining community had just been incorporated into a village municipality. You can see that the many streets (Principale St, Perrault St, Du Lac St, and Du Portage St.) were already well established. You can also see the Dumulon General Store, Nickel Range Hotel, and the Regal Theatre.
