In the early days of Rouyn, the snow on Édouard Lake and Osisko Lake was cleared so that people could skate and play hockey. On Osisko Lake, the snow was normally cleared from the front of Dumulon General Store. As you can see on the photograph though, the lake is snowless so people are free to roam.
