The Noranda’s Beit Knesset Israel synagogue, visible in the middle, does not have any distinctive features that make it stand out except for the Star of David on its front. The three windows building is located on the 9th Avenue in Noranda. In 1924 and 1925, in the early days of the settlement, Jewish families settled in Rouyn and worked mainly in the trade business.
