Dear Sir: –
As usual, before starting out on field work, I organized the Armstrong Ayrshire Calf Club and, owing to the large number of entries, we have had to put it into two sections.
I commenced field work on the 8th of July when I left here to attend our annual field day and Picnic held at the U.B.C. and this turned out to be one of the best we have had.
Whilst in the Fraser Valley I called on a number of our breeders. At Greybrook Farm, Pitt Meadows, I saw their new herd sire, which they have recently purchased from H.E. Talbot of Westwold. He is a Fintry bred bull, “Fintry Morning Glory”, and a very nice individual backed by high tests, which are essential for their bottled milk trade.
