Lucky Girl’s Horns

Fintry Collections
Lucky Girl was never dehorned. Upon her death, her horns were preserved and mounted by Capt. Dun‑Waters.
All cattle are naturally horned, although their horns are often removed as young calves. For many years, the Ayrshires’s horns were a hallmark of the breed, reaching a foot or more in length with a graceful curve out and slightly back.
