Scotland’s Gift of Cattle to British Columbia
As a gesture of friendship to a province of Canada which is so largely settled with Scots or with descendants of Scots, Ayrshire breeders in Scotland this year sent a gift shipment of twenty-four head of high-class Ayrshire Cattle to the University of British Columbia.
This gift was inspired by a desire to see the world’s best dairy cows represented worthily, among the stock at British Columbia University farm.
