Children of Peace Banners

These paintings are by Richard Coates. Richard Coates was a bandmaster in the British Army. He was also at the Battle of Waterloo.
They feature two white robed children in both. The women in the first painting is carrying a ‘Peace’ flag. The Children of Peace symbol, the sun or all seeing-eye, is also featured. The dove in the second painting is carrying a message of ‘peace’ down from God.
Both painting still hang in the Temple today, above the North and West doors.
