Rebellion box with black ink decor and a rocking bottom made by John Graham for his sister Miss Hester Graham.

John Graham made this box for his sister, Hester Graham. It is made of maple, and features black ink decorations. The word “Liberty” is inscribed on both ends.

The inscription reads: “Miss Hester Graham from her brother in prison, Toronto, 1838.”
