A Hive of Activity at Port Oshawa.

The Port of Oshawa welcomed 30,000 tiny new neighbours in 2021. The new honeybee colony, established on protected green space within the port, is managed by Aromath Beekeeping. Getting right down to business, the bees are finding the port lands an ideal location. Port of Oshawa honey won a blue ribbon at the 2021 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto.
