Description of video.
This video features a montage created and filmed by Colonel Frank Chappell in 1935. The video is taken from the lake looking towards the shoreline by someone in a boat. It is travelling along the shoreline from west to east. As they continue driving the boat along the shoreline, numerous buildings can be seen where Lakeview Park beach is today. A person driving a wooden boat, Colonel Frank Chappell, appears beside the wooden pier where people are standing. The video continues up the Oshawa Creek where fields, cows and a few buildings can be seen.
