Father Jim Roberts [00:00:00] We always talked consultation instead of confrontation, talking along that line. That’s, of course, what we believed in. But we never had, really, one instance that would validate that claim on his part. It was always a problem. You couldn’t say no, right. You couldn’t turn it off.

Tom McGrath [00:00:22] Right.

Father Jim Roberts [00:00:22] But yet there was no sign, ever, of any kind of bona fide will, willingness to have a real kind of consultation. All the remarks were snide, all of the… That meeting with the handicapped, which we talked about before. I forget the exact date.

Tom McGrath [00:00:41] That’s in ’84.

Father Jim Roberts [00:00:44] Okay. That was, that, that was typical. Dismissal. Dismissal.
