Teachers on strike

When school boards obtained injunctions against teacher picketing, members of the Solidarity Coalition took their place on the picket lines ensuring that the strike went ahead.

Used picket signs are now part of archival collections and demonstrate a newly politicized BC Teachers’ Federation after their participation in Solidarity in 1983.
