Revelstoke Museum and Archives photograph 7140.
Hector and Delia McKinnon began operating Standard Dairy farm in Revelstoke in 1916. Hector McKinnon died in a fire on an adjoining farm in 1929, and his wife and children continued to operate the farm until they were forced to leave due to the construction of the Hugh Keenleyside Dam. Prior to that time, they were one of the leading providers of dairy products in Revelstoke.
