Barn Raising on the Shura Farm, 1922

Several families gathered on the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Shura in the Mount Cartier settlement to help them build their barn around 1922.

In the photograph are Mr. and Mrs. Felix Suberlak, Sam Pryhitko, Artym Ozero, Karol Symonowich, Ivan Cwikula, and James Ozero. All of the families came to the valley between 1912 and 1913.
