Estelle Dickey took this photograph on November 20, 1967. She wrote, “This is on the road opposite Akolkolex (Isaac) Creek. There are miles and miles of stumps like this, with the clearing. You can see the CPR bridge in the distance. It would make a person ill seeing all that lovely country stripped ready to be covered by water.”
