Temrick’s Store, Arrowhead, circa 1965
Revelstoke Museum and Archives photograph 3885.
The general store in Arrowhead was a fixture in the community dating back to the earliest days of Arrowhead in the 1890s. The store was originally built as a branch location by C.B. Hume, who owned Revelstoke’s biggest store. The store was later purchased by Dan and Ida Crawford, and finally by Tony Temrick, who ran the store until he was forced to move with the coming of the Arrow Lakes reservoir.
