Challenges of Excavation
Fade in: Challenges of Excavation

There was testing done at the fort. And at this point it is always “The Fort”, and that we were going to do some survey in the interior of the island and along the shores.
Fade to a black and white image of a grassy area on the edge of the water line. A low stone wall takes up most of the left hand side of the image.
Fade back to Dave Smith speaking to the camera.
We were concerned about how much waterlog, waterlogged deposits that there might be, because this was supposedly built on a wet area where there was a spring actually, supposed to be there as well.
Although there wasn’t a spring by the time we got out there.
Now this is an assessment as well, an assessment for a master plan. I had that in mind all the time, I was not going in to do any kind of intensive research on any one particular facet of this, I knew we had to do work around the fort but I also knew we had to work in other parts of the island as well.
Fade out: End credits.
