In August 1932, to mark the 10th anniversary of the Bruck Mill’s opening, employees and managers are photographed in front of the plant. An important growth in the number of employees is noticeable (from 30 to over 400) as well as the increasing presence of women. This photo is published in the employee newspaper Entre-Nous in November 1950. It points out that 80% of the men in the image are still employed by the Bruck and that several ladies have become the wives of the factory’s employees. The photo is now displayed in the entrance hall of the Bruck Museum, piquing the interest of visitors who sometimes recognize their ancestors among the rows of employees.
