Portrait of Marguerite Valois-Maddocks by Geoff Watkins. Better known as Margot Maddocks, she served as president of the Cowansville Art Centre from 1971 to 1977, the longest term after founder Eugenie Sharp Lee. Her dynamism and involvement in the community greatly contributes to the influence of the Art Centre. The Cowansville public art collection is now named after her.
