The Regina

The Regina was built in Dumbarton, Scotland, and was owned by Canada Interlake Company. She was 249 feet long with a beam of 42.5 feet. When the Regina sank in the Great Storm of 1913, she took all 25 crew with her. The Regina was discovered in 1986 at the bottom of Lake Huron between Lexington and Port Sanilac, MI. The vessel is upside down and in about 80 feet of water. She has become part of Michigan’s underwater park system.
