The diary of Captain Edward McConkey, captain of the Regina. His ship sank in the Great Storm of 1913 taking all crew members with it. Captain McConkey’s body did not wash ashore until the spring of 1914 on the American side of Lake Huron. Recovered along with his body were this diary and his pocket watch.
