Inauguration of the commemorative plaque

A plaque commemorating those lost in the Great Storm of 1913 was unveiled in Goderich overlooking Lake Huron on August 3, 1969. It was part of a series of plaques that were placed throughout the province by the Department of Public Records and Archives acting on the advice of Archaeological and Historical Sites Board of Ontario.
